Background
Subha is a final year Master’s in Biotechnology student from Amity university, Noida, India. She has completed her Bachelor’s in Life Sciences from St. Francis college for women, Hyderabad, India. She has completed her project on Dock Based Virtual Screening and has written a literature review on the 2020 Nobel prize-winning CRISPR technology for her graduation and post graduation projects. She has interned with various NGO’s like Pledge a Smile, Greenthusiast Foundation and Handout foundation to raise awareness on many issues like women’s empowerment, climate change, women’s health and mental health. She is also a part of FridaysForFuture – India, where she writes blogs and creates content to raise awareness on climate change and its effects on the environment.
Motivation
Subha strongly believes that getting help for mental health should be easy & accessible. She hopes to use #SAC’s platform to create more campaigns to raise more awareness on mental health and public health.
Goals
Subha hopes to work in the public sector someday until then she wants to use #SAC’s platform to Co-lead the Mental Health Team and to break the social stigmas related to mental health.
